The following is the audition template for our game. It is free form and can take any form you choose. If you prefer a traditional or interview style template, feel free to structure your audition in that manner.
****THIS IS NOT AN APPLICATION. You do not need to feel as if you are attempting to acquire a job at a Big Box Store, you are expressing your interest in joining the wonderful cast of creators here at OUAN. For this reason, we ask you to look on this as an Audition. We do not want you to feel like you need to provide a detailed history of your character from birth to present with an in depth outline of personality, skills, and flaws. We want to get to know who your character is in 2500 words or less, but more importantly we want to see how they will fit into our game and how you want to portray them. Once you are accepted, you will be asked to make a wiki page for your character in which you can make your character's history as detailed as you like and the staff will be more than happy to help you with all of the canon minutia. If for some reason the staff has questions about something in your Audition, you will merely be asked to complete a Call Back, or a writing sample based upon a prompt provided by the staff to help clear up any confusion.****
When your audition is complete, please reply to our Complete Audition thread with a link to it and the staff will get back to you at our earliest convenience.
