Welcome to the OUAN Wiki

Welcome to the OUAN Wiki

The OUAN Site Wiki is a labor of love created by the current members of OUAN for the future members of OUAN. Our goal is to make the canon history of our site as easy to peruse and learn as possible for those of you who wish to join our family. Within you can find everything from species to characters to members to canon tales and so much more.

WE ARE IN BETA TESTING RIGHT NOW. ALTHOUGH 99% OF THE WIKI IS DONE, WE ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF FACT CHECKING, PROOFREADING, AND COMPLETING A FEW EXTRA PAGES AS WE REALIZE THAT WE NEED TO MAKE THEM. Please excuse our mess. If you find empty pages, we are working on filling them post haste. If you find conflicting information, we are working on making our facts align across pages and we would be happy to tell you which piece of conflicting information is correct. We apologize for any confusion, with luck Beta Testing will be over the and the Wiki will be 100% done shortly.

THANK YOU!

The Yarrow is a magical woodlands that was created by Olwyn the Source to act as a memorial for the Fae lost in the War with the Fae. She imbued the woodlands with magic itself to create a place unlike any other in Ga'leah. The other gods took great pleasure in the Yarrow and used its magical qualities as a carte blanche to be more creative with their own creations to populate it.

No one has ever successfully mapped the entire Yarrow. While the humans may know areas of the woodlands that border human settlements, the deeper one gets into the Yarrow the more fantastic the creatures that populate it and the easier it is to get lost.

Over the years other creatures have called portions of the Yarrow home as well. The Lycans were a substantial force in the Yarrow for quite some time before their leader made an agreement with Maleficent and many of them relocated to Xehacora. Following the Big Bad Wolf's imprisonment, many of the Lycans scattered. Now that the Lycan have been reborn as Lupin, it is unclear if they will attempt to reclaim the Yarrow from the spectres that now populate it.

The more passive, prey, Skinwakers too sought out a corner of the Yarrow. Moved to migrate after the senseless murder of a young mother by Scar, they became known as the Yarrow Skinwalkers and did not have much cause to interact with others of their kind until the Blight drove them out of the Yarrow and into Deepwood.

Finally, as the Blight raged, humans sought out what they perceived to be the protections of the Yarrow's magic. Robin Hood and his Merry Men helped a great deal of these displaced humans until the Yarrow proved to be unsafe as well.

Though the Yarrow was able to withstand the Blight for quite some time, the Ocean Blight made a considerable dent in the forest's magical defenses. When at last the Blight came for the Yarrow, it fell.

The Yarrow is now free of Blight but recovery is a slow process. The woodlands are not haunted by all those creatures which lost their lives to the Blight making it an even more dangerous and unpredictable place than it used to be.
