Welcome to the OUAN Wiki

Welcome to the OUAN Wiki

The OUAN Site Wiki is a labor of love created by the current members of OUAN for the future members of OUAN. Our goal is to make the canon history of our site as easy to peruse and learn as possible for those of you who wish to join our family. Within you can find everything from species to characters to members to canon tales and so much more.

WE ARE IN BETA TESTING RIGHT NOW. ALTHOUGH 99% OF THE WIKI IS DONE, WE ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF FACT CHECKING, PROOFREADING, AND COMPLETING A FEW EXTRA PAGES AS WE REALIZE THAT WE NEED TO MAKE THEM. Please excuse our mess. If you find empty pages, we are working on filling them post haste. If you find conflicting information, we are working on making our facts align across pages and we would be happy to tell you which piece of conflicting information is correct. We apologize for any confusion, with luck Beta Testing will be over the and the Wiki will be 100% done shortly.

THANK YOU!

Jangala is a jungle woodlands located at the foot of the Hyadies mountain on the Solharan side of the mountain range. Although it has shrunk over the years with the mining of the gold in the mountains, a small portion of the jungle remains and has become a haven for the dispossessed.

Location

Jangala is located on the Solharan side of the Hyadies mountains at the foot of the mountain range. Although it used to stretch from coast to coast, the jungle has become significantly smaller as the Solharans continue to expand their mining of precious metals. It is now only a tenth of a its original size.

History

Jangala was first settled by Skinwalkers who did not particularly like the idea of being ruled over by a king. Those who wished to live more solitary lives with no one to make demands of them or create laws that they were forced to follow soon found the jungle of Jangala. For the most part the Skinwalkers of Jangala keep to themselves and only interact with each other when need demands. They did not even voice much complaint when one of their own tried to name himself the king of the Jungle. King Louis, as he called himself, was allowed to use whatever name or title that he wished, but the other Skinwalkers also paid his demands no mind.

After centuries alone in Jangala, the Skinwalkers were joined by an unwelcome pack of Lycans who had fled the Big Bad Wolf and his life of sin. Lower tiered and therefore lower powered wolves, they were able to combat the sins that attempted to consume them and desired only to live in some semblance of peace without the Big Bad Wolf making terrible demands of them. They were allowed to remain in Jangala only after promising that they would respect the privacy of the Skinwalkers who already lived there. They were also only too happy to accept the gift offered to them by the Huntsman and be reborn as Lupin.

A young man attempting to escape the Blight was the first human to ever be accepted in Jangala. The Lupin attempted to take him in as one of their own, but the Skinwalkers soon learned of the Lupin's plans and the peace of Jangala is now threatened.
