Welcome to the OUAN Wiki

Welcome to the OUAN Wiki

The OUAN Site Wiki is a labor of love created by the current members of OUAN for the future members of OUAN. Our goal is to make the canon history of our site as easy to peruse and learn as possible for those of you who wish to join our family. Within you can find everything from species to characters to members to canon tales and so much more.

WE ARE IN BETA TESTING RIGHT NOW. ALTHOUGH 99% OF THE WIKI IS DONE, WE ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF FACT CHECKING, PROOFREADING, AND COMPLETING A FEW EXTRA PAGES AS WE REALIZE THAT WE NEED TO MAKE THEM. Please excuse our mess. If you find empty pages, we are working on filling them post haste. If you find conflicting information, we are working on making our facts align across pages and we would be happy to tell you which piece of conflicting information is correct. We apologize for any confusion, with luck Beta Testing will be over the and the Wiki will be 100% done shortly.

THANK YOU!

Easthaven and Westhaven are sister villages which have begun to take shape in the land to the east and west of the capital and the Castle Caerleon. They began as refugee camps created to house and protect the people displaced by the Blight. However, many have lost faith in their respective kingdoms and rulers and instead wish to remain in Caerleon where the High Court cared for them. These people have begun to make the temporary camps more permanent.

Location

Easthaven and Westhaven are two villages located to the immediate East and West of Castle Caerleon and the surrounding city. They are also not far from the Sea of Lyrielle or Deepwood.

History

Easthaven and Westhaven began as temporary refugee camps begun by order of High Queen Gwenhwyfar to house those who were attempting to escape the Blight that had begun to decimate Dokrayth. The camps continued to grow as slowly most of the other kingdoms in Ga'leah were similarly destroyed by Blight.

Since the end of the Blight, many have desired to return home and begin rebuilding their lives, while others have lost all faith in their leaders and any desire to return to the homes where so many of their loved ones died. In an effort to escape bad memories and worse nightmares, they sought permission from the King and Queen to begin towns in the locations of the Refugee Camps. Unwilling to refuse, permission was given and work began on constructing the towns.

Although they are far from completion, both have a workable town square with marketplace as well as a few shops, taverns, inns, and a handful of more permanent houses. One of the first things constructed in both towns were statues in gratitude to Gwenhwyfar and Arthur which sit proudly in each of their town squares.
