Welcome to the OUAN Wiki

The OUAN Site Wiki is a labor of love created by the current members of OUAN for the future members of OUAN. Our goal is to make the canon history of our site as easy to peruse and learn as possible for those of you who wish to join our family. Within you can find everything from species to characters to members to canon tales and so much more.

WE ARE IN BETA TESTING RIGHT NOW. ALTHOUGH 99% OF THE WIKI IS DONE, WE ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF FACT CHECKING, PROOFREADING, AND COMPLETING A FEW EXTRA PAGES AS WE REALIZE THAT WE NEED TO MAKE THEM. Please excuse our mess. If you find empty pages, we are working on filling them post haste. If you find conflicting information, we are working on making our facts align across pages and we would be happy to tell you which piece of conflicting information is correct. We apologize for any confusion, with luck Beta Testing will be over the and the Wiki will be 100% done shortly.

A Novel

The Jungle Book (1894) is a collection of stories by English author Rudyard Kipling. The stories are fables, using animals in an anthropomorphic manner to give moral lessons. A principal character is the boy or "man-cub" Mowgli, who is raised in the jungle by wolves. Other characters include Shere Khan the tiger and Baloo the bear. The book has been adapted many times for film and other media.

For Once Upon a Nightmare, we chose to relocate the tale to Solhara which serves as our Asian and Middle Eastern inspired kingdom. Mulan would now be conscripted to join the Sultan's army to combat the Blight, and sent to Caerleon to defend the capital to allow those who created characters within Mulan to form past threads for them among the people in Solhara and current threads among those in Caerleon.

Canon Tale

Jangala was a rainforest at the foot of the Hyadies mountains on the Solharan side of the mountain range. Fed by the melt and run off from the Hyadies, it is a lush and beautiful tropical woodland that has been untarnished by the mining of precious metals that have caused several such woodlands to be cleared away.

Jangala was the home to several outcast Skinwalkers who did not fit in well with the Skinwalkers of the Yarrow or the Pride Lands. They did not particularly care to live with those of their kind and only desired to exist in peace without the complexities of politics. They did not even object when one of them dubbed himself King of Jangala.

As the Blight consumed Solhara, residents sought to evacuate to locations where they would be safe. Most sought out places in Caerleon and Xehacora, but the Lycan fleeing the carnage feared they would not be accepted into either kingdom freely. Instead, they sought shelter in Jangala where they encountered a young human who had also escaped to the Jungle paradise. Knowing that the boy would not last long on his own, and being Lycans far removed from the powerful sins that dominated so many of their kind, the wolves took the boy in and promised to keep him safe. Now reborn as Lupin under the Huntsman's promise of redemption, the wolves continue to protect their human from the Skinwalkers of Jangala...but as the distrust of magic grows throughout the continent, the Skinwalkers too become more and more wary of humans who seem to want them dead, burned alive, now more than ever.
