Welcome to the OUAN Wiki

Welcome to the OUAN Wiki

The OUAN Site Wiki is a labor of love created by the current members of OUAN for the future members of OUAN. Our goal is to make the canon history of our site as easy to peruse and learn as possible for those of you who wish to join our family. Within you can find everything from species to characters to members to canon tales and so much more.

WE ARE IN BETA TESTING RIGHT NOW. ALTHOUGH 99% OF THE WIKI IS DONE, WE ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF FACT CHECKING, PROOFREADING, AND COMPLETING A FEW EXTRA PAGES AS WE REALIZE THAT WE NEED TO MAKE THEM. Please excuse our mess. If you find empty pages, we are working on filling them post haste. If you find conflicting information, we are working on making our facts align across pages and we would be happy to tell you which piece of conflicting information is correct. We apologize for any confusion, with luck Beta Testing will be over the and the Wiki will be 100% done shortly.

THANK YOU!

Nearly ever society in the world has creation myths and gods which were thought to have taken part in the shaping of the world around them. Because OUAN finds all of these myths to be of equal merit, it was decided that instead of basing our gods on any one culture, we would leave the godhoods open to the members. They could choose to base their god on a god of a various earthly culture, or they could create something completely original.

After it was decided to kill many of these gods off in the Blight, the decision was made to redirect our godly plot, making the story about finding new gods and promoting mortal characters into the ranks of the gods instead of merely creating a new mythology with our own original take on mythology.

Canon Tale

Once they were the gods worshiped by the residents of Ga'leah, but that all changed. Each country, each region, each profession and family paid tribute to different deities entreating them for love, vengeance, a bountiful harvest, and much more. In the times long past, they could answer the prayers of their followers, but during the Blight they found themselves nearly powerless.

The darkness swept over Ga'leah, but on Caelum, the home of the gods, it was an entity all its own. It came, a blanketing fog of impenetrable blackness that swallowed the gods' mountaintop home and anyone unlucky enough to be caught in its grasp. There were many who did not escape the darkness. There were many who perished.

In the months following the Fall of Caelum, the Blight swept across the land like the plague it was, bringing with it the Walking Starvation that reanimated the dead and killed scores of mortal Fae and humans alike. God after god fell to the Blight. Some of their godhoods were saved, some were taken by Maleficent to warp into something dark and twisted. It was only the Blight was defeated that those godhoods were recovered.

Now, as the world struggles to rebuild and forget, the Pantheon buries and mourns their dead and begins a desperate quest to find new individuals among the mortals, those worthy of becoming one of the Gods. But as the evil cult Veritas spreads it vile message of removing magic from the world, the Pantheon finds their pool of potential candidates growing smaller and smaller...
