The Blight and the Walking Starvation have only just begun to arrive in Solhara, but the effects of both on the world of Ga'leah have caused wide spread famine and unrest. Riots are a common occurrence in the cities, and the tribes of Solhara have turned minor feuds into bloody wars over the smallest water source or oasis.

Following the Blight, the Martanis is no more. It has been replaced by Black Water. Liquid Blight stretching for as far as the eye can see, the creatures housed within it are abominations that regularly pull themselves from the water to reek havoc on the land. Some brave pirates continue to sail the Black Water in search of Treasure Island and the mythical Golden Fleece which is rumored to be one of the only ways to combat the Blight and save the ocean they love.

Since the Walking Starvation began, the Queen has locked down the major cities of Calladahn, allowing entrance only to her most trusted and useful subjects. The rest of Calladahn is left to fend for themselves. Many have been forced into refugee camps, while others are forced by threat of death to continue farming to provide the Queen and the royals with enough food to survive.

Dokrayth is a wasteland with few living creatures roaming its lands. Some human survivors cling to life most of which resided in the small town of Aeswick alongside the Yarrow before an attack of the Ocean Blight left the town as nothing but smoldering ash. Now, nearly every citizen of Dokrayth are refugees that have fled to other kingdoms or to the enchanted woodlands itself…but the princes of Dokrayth wish to take back their homeland from the infected.
