Please follow these guidelines.
1. Follow the instruction in the application. Failure to do so could cause the application to be pended.

2. Reserve all Canon roles and Face claims.

3. Post applications in the IN PROGRESS forum. The Pending forum is for staff use only.

4. Post a link to your application in the COMPLETE APPLICATIONS thread so the staff knows to review it at their earliest convenience.

5. Make contact with members who play characters which will likely have a close relationship with your own to coordinate histories.

6. If you are returning from an inactivation, ask the staff about the Reactivation Application.

 Complete applications
The Bard

When all of the beauty turns to pain When all of the madness falls like rain As long as we crash and we collide We will be gorgeous, you and I.

All Done?
So, you've completed your character application?

Typically, Applications are reviewed on Wednesday or Thursday of each week. Occasionally the staff will have the opportunity to review apps earlier in the week, but there will no doubt be times when applications must wait for the Wednesday/Thursday App Review sweep. The staff does ask for at least 24 hours to check the facts and circumstances of character applications so turning an application in as complete by Tuesday night is recommended if you want to get it reviewed during the next possible Sweep.

We're thrilled that you showed an interest in our game, and that you took the time to craft a character for us. Please glance at our checklist to ensure that you are indeed finished. With luck, this will also prevent your application from being held up in the editing process.

If it is complete, please reply to this thread with a link to your application and the staff will review it as soon as possible.

Although we will reply to your application with the standard accepted/pending/rejected response, any in depth analysis will be done via pm to respect everyone's privacy.

Check List
    1) Proofread. Any applications that are difficult to read or understand due to a plethora of mistakes will be rejected. Everyone makes errors, and some are to be expected. However, vast quantities of spelling and grammatical errors make a post difficult to decipher and the players who write them tend to find themselves lacking in player interaction. Please take the time to proofread.

    2) Continuity. We realize that there are quite a few informational threads for this game, and we do not expect you to read them all before applying. However we do recommend that you familiarize yourself with some information to prevent your application from being held up in rewrites. It is recommended that you read the the species information that applies to your character as well as the location information for their chosen home kingdom as well as the location information for the kingdom in which their canon tale takes place. If you want to be thorough, it may also be pertinent to review other canon tales that share a common location to your own character.

3). Reservations. Please make sure you have made the appropriate reservations. Reservations will always take precedence. So if you fail to reserve a claim, there is always a possibility that someone else will do so before your application is approved. If this is the case, you may be required to recast or even reimagine a character. Please don't take this chance!

4). Plots As our game grows, more and more characters are being created. If you are making a character from a wanted ad or a story with several taken canons, it is highly recommended that you attempt to initiate contact with said players before submitting your finished application. To ensure that histories match up, the staff will be asking those players to way in on applications whenever they have the time or ability to do so...AND you will already have threads waiting for you before you even get your character accepted.

5). Loas Please note that if you are under a current LOA, that you are not permitted to hold reservations during your leave. The staff will also hold your application until you return from LOA. We ask that you focus upon posting for characters you have already committed to playing rather than apping new ones until activity is no longer a concern.

6). Claims Please ensure that you have filed all of your claims for your previously accepted characters before submitting a complete application for a new character. If you have not yet filed claims, your application will not be reviewed by a member of staff until you have done so. Thank you.
